How to talk about Universal Human with someone new
I talked to a friend of mine yesterday about this site. His initial response was feeling strange and even being astonished. That was because UH is new to him. I asked him about how we can explain UH better. Here is his advice.
- At first, avoid using the words, Universal Human or Universal Identity. These are new words to many people and they would just confuse them. Instead, initiate a conversation with feeling closer to other people when they traveled foreign countries or reading tragedy of other people. Empathy with foreign people is a great start to the conversation.
- After the initial conversation, explain what UH and UI are. That clarify people mind that we all belong to one species.
- At last, we can talk about what we are aiming at. We can talk about global peace, environmental issues, anti-racism, etc.

I live in Vancouver, and people here are more liberal and open-minded. They may not be so shocked to listen to new ideas. But the advice is well-taken and I will keep that in mind!
