I face a lot of corruption here in the Bay Area but I have no places to turn.

I think our members are from all over the world, and we are very cosmopolitan community.

When the Roman Empire fell, the Roman people did not die or disappear. They lived just as before. It is that the people stopped identifying themselves as the Romans. The Inca Empire was destroyed in 1533, but the descendants still live today. They changed their identity, although gradually, after the Spanish conquered them. 

The opposite is also true. When a new nation is created, the people start using new identity just as we can observe after the American Revolution. During the colonial time, the African people had mostly tribal identity only. But after the independence, many of them started to have the identity as a citizen of their countries.

An ethnic group does not die or vanish, but an identity does. The creation of a new state is not physically creating new people, but the creation of a new identity.

But people still do not fully understand it. That is because it is rare to see the examples of identity influencing human thoughts and behaviors.

So, I am asking people here to come up with examples of identity influencing human behavior, and write them in the comment.

The bottom line is that in the modern age humans started to have similar interests due to advanced communication technology. That is why we can find soccer fan and FC Barcelona fan in all over the world. We are moving closer to a United Planet of Humanity.

When more people have Universal Identity, the world will be less discriminative.

This is the same old story that some nations, often powerful, break or do not care about the rules, and other nations suffer. This is similar to a person who does not care about other people's pain.

Identity can change that. People in Texas, where oil production is the highest in America, share the same identity as Americans, so they follow the rules set by the federal government. This is because Americans share a sense of unity and ready to bear the cost of social and economic policies.

We can do that at the global level. If enough percentage of humans share Human Identity, it is a lot easier for us to share the sense of unity and bear the cost. Just like people in Texas, more of us can support the policies to protect the environment even if it might hurt our economy.

This makes our evangelical effort more important. We need more Universal Human in every county on the earth.

However, other than these three issues, there is no agenda or problem that FGE should be handling, and it is local governments, or national governments, that should deal with many aspects of our lives.

This is important because some people, including myself, believe in small governments and they do not want to expand the authority of government. For them, FGE is another layer of a big government. Hence, if we do not communicate with them effectively, they might be against FGE.

Also, creating a government is no easy task. It requires a lot of resources especially legal expertise. If we try to create FGE without enough preparation and resources, ordinary people might feel insecure and be against FGE.

So, when we talk about the creation of FGE, the two things listed below should be kept in mind.

1.  The authority of FGE should be limited to global issues only.
2.  We should develop FGE with good preparation and securing resources.

This might slow down the speed of developing FGE, but it is better than heading directly into failure without popular support. We take one step at a time.
